BACB - Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst

Certification as a Behavior Analyst or Associate Behavior Analyst represents a high level of knowledge, training and skills. Employers and consumers increasingly require the assurance signified by certification. Texas Young Autism Project provides an opportunity for individuals to obtain the coursework, experience and supervision needed to be eligible for certification.

Certification by the BACB is offered at two levels:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst™ (BCBA®)
• Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCABA)
• BCBA - If you have earned at least a Masters Degree, you may be eligible for BCBA certification. There are specific coursework and supervised or mentored experience requirements.
• BCABA - If you have earned at least a Bachelors Degree, you may be eligible for BCABA certification.
